While Simon is quickly approaching four-weeks-old, I’m on the home front preparing to transition to Denver. What a tiring process! I’ve got bags to pack for Jaden and I both, lists of necessities that must go with us and a rough sketch of shopping that must be done there. I have boxes galore to pack everything else up as needed, hoping that we won’t have to resort to plan B, but seeing that it’s more than likely what is going to transpire. ACK! What a frightening thought!
Simon gained more weight, taking him to 745 grams or 1 lb, 9 oz. The doctors were able to step down one notch on his ventilator taking him to 32 respirations instead of 35. The chest x-ray yesterday was unchanged with many white areas in his lungs. All the blood gases came back great yesterday and he’s done well with the rate drop. The doctors are going to follow this plan and see if the clouding in his lungs dissipates on its own.
Stumble It!
I know I keep saying this, but you and your family are never far from my mind. Everything everyone is going through as this little miracle continues to grow and progress is simply amazing. You’re all so strong and that’s so inspiring. ::hugs you tight::
